OCIO MUNet Network maintenance Mar. 18, 2026, between 12-2 a.m.
The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) advises on planned network maintenance on the St. John’s campus which will impact connections to the following locations:
- Ocean Sciences Center
- Botanical Gardens
- Biology Annex and Vivarium
- Signal Hill Campus including the Geo Center and The Battery Facility (MUNet and residence networks)
- Southcott Hall and the Miller Center
- ACORN-NL connections
- Marine Institute
The maintenance is planned for Wednesday, Mar. 18, 2026 between 12-2 a.m. During this time there will be outages to the network. This includes wired network access to St. John’s Campus and the internet, and VoIP telephony. Also, the wireless networks: @Memorial, @Memorial-Guest, @MemorialRES, @MemorialRES-Guest, and eduroam.

Retirement of OCIO’s Document Manager Service
Please note that the Document Manager service (docs.mun.ca) has reached retirement, and as a result, new sites will not be provisioned moving forward.
Alternate storage areas are available to support your needs, such as OneDrive and Teams sites.
