Memorial University Botanical Garden is located within Pippy Park, at

Drive

The Garden is located at 306 Mount Scio Road, which is on the north-west side of the road, within Pippy Park, St. John's, Newfoundland. Complimentary parking is available on both sides of the road. The Garden is approximately 1km from Thorburn Road on the west and 2km from Allandale Road on the East.

Bus

Beginning in January 2026, Metrobus Route 29 is servicing the Garden and other properties on Mount Scio Rd. 

Taxi

There are a variety of taxi services in St. John's. Please ask your driver to take you to Memorial University Botanical Garden, located at 306 Mt. Scio Road.

Walk

Walkers can access the Garden via the Grand Concourse trails. The Long Pond to Oxen Pond or Oxen Pond to Wishingwell walks are available on the Grand Concourse Authority Website. If you wish to walk on roads, please be aware that Mt. Scio is a country road, with only a gravel shoulder and no sidewalks.
