Dr. Cara Tannenbaum visits Memorial
As a practicing internist/geriatrician and women's health specialist, Dr. Tannenbaum continues to treat men and women with a variety of health problems, fueling her understanding of and passion for driving evidence-based improvements in health for men and women across the lifespan. In this presentation Dr. Cara Tannenbaum will outline CIHR’s funding commitments towards advancing research and practice in the area of Gender and Work. These include investments in the Gender, Work and Health Chairs, the joint CIHR-SSHRC Healthy and Productive Work Partnership initiative, the eMental Health in the Workplace upcoming opportunity, and collaboration with the Ministry of Labour. Sex and gender-related considerations in these areas will be highlighted.
