CHRSP Releases two new studies

Researchers at the Contextualized Health Research Synthesis Program (CHRSP) at NLCAHR have published two new studies: an Evidence in Context Report on home-based palliative end-of-life care and a Rapid Evidence Report on supported employment for people with severe mental illness.

You can read these publications here:

Home Based Palliative End of Life Care addresses the following question, which was posed to CHRSP by health system decision makers from across the province: "What does the scientific evidence tell us about the effectiveness of home-based palliative end-of-life care in maximizing the likelihood of death at home and in minimizing symptom burden? What does the evidence tell us about the resources required for the effective delivery of such care?”

Supported Employment for People with Severe Mental Illness looked at models of supported employment that follow recovery principles addressed to people with severe mental illness to improve employment outcomes and mental health status.
