Planning Underway for Winter Exams

Students who opted to write a postponed final exam in a Winter 2020 mathematics or statistics course should have received an email from tstuckless@mun.ca on Tuesday, June 16. All students with an ABS grade in a Winter 2020 math or stat course should check their @mun.ca email and respond by July 1, 2020.

A FAQ and notices regarding the Winter 2020 deferred exams will be posted online at this address: https://www.mun.ca/math/undergraduate/ugrad-exam/.

The affected sections are: MATH 1000, 1001, 1050, 1051, 1090, 109B, 2000, 2050, 2051, 2090, 2260, 2320, 3000, 3001, 3100, 3111, 3202-002, 3340, 4310, STAT 1510, 2410, 2500, 2501, 2550, and 2560.

Students previously eligible to take a grade of "pass" may still choose to do so. The drop date for these courses has also been extended. No refund will be issued for students opting to drop, but the drop will not prejudice an academic record: it will show as "DR" on the transcript. Students who missed the deadline to opt in to the deferred exam, and whose grade defaulted to "FAL" may also choose to drop the course.

Affected students must check their @mun.ca email and respond by July 1, 2020.
