The Math Kangaroo contest is an international activity for students in grades 1 to 12. For more information and registration please visit the Canadian Math Kangaroo website.

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Memorial University will host Math Kangaroo on March 21st, 2027.

The test for grades 1-2 consists of 18 multiple-choice questions, arranged in increasing difficulty, to be answered in 45 minutes. The test for grades 3-4 consists of 24 multiple-choice questions, arranged in increasing difficulty, to be answered in 60 minutes. The test for grades 5-12 consists of 30 multiple-choice questions, arranged in increasing difficulty, to be answered in 75 minutes.
