Good as a Concert Performance Series
Newfoundland and Labrador’s repertoire of folk songs and stories is vast, but only a relatively small number of works from the tradition are performed in the province’s venues today. The goal of the Good as a Concert performance series is to celebrate the tradition and bring a wider range of songs and stories into circulation. Presented in a welcoming and informal manner, concerts and workshops in the series feature some of the most respected artists working in the tradition today. Join us at the next Good as a Concert event and experience the richness of the province’s culture! Good as a Concert is produced by SingSong Inc, MMaP, and Eleanor Dawson.
Join us for the next event in the Good as a Concert performance series. The theme of the evening will be “Singer's Choice.” Hosted by Eleanor Dawson, the evening will feature the favourite songs of Fergus O'Byrne, Linda Byrne, Monica Walsh, and Jaimie Moran. The concert will take place on November 1, 2025 at 7:30 pm in Suncor Energy Hall at the Memorial University School of Music. Tickets are $25 (20 for students) and may be purchased at the door. Videos of past events can be viewed on the MMaP YouTube channel.
