SUBJECT: Fresh Prints: Celebrating 40 years of St. Michael’s Printshop

The First Space Art Gallery in the Queen Elizabeth II Library at Memorial University is celebrating the 40th anniversary of St. Michael’s Printshop with an exhibit of 14 emerging artists. Artists were encouraged to submit work that engaged with the concept of “freshness.”
The opening event takes place on Friday, Sept. 26, from 6-7:30 p.m. on the main floor of the QE ll Library on the St. John’s campus. The event is free and refreshments will be served.
First Space Gallery has shown work by emerging artists since 2004 and continues its commitment to foster creative expression that celebrates Memorial’s dynamic campus and its thriving surrounding community.
