SUBJECT: Aboriginal lecture to examine imperialism in education

The inaugural Eve and Edward Roberts Aboriginal Speaker Series, hosted by Memorial University, will feature Cognitive Imperialism in Education and the Power ofDecolonization by Dr. Marie Battiste, Academic Director of the Aboriginal Education Research Centre at University of Saskatchewan. The lecture will take place on Tuesday, May 16 at 7 p.m. in Petro Canada Hall. All are welcome to attend.
