Connect with Campus Life

The Department of Modern Languages, Literatures and Cultures offers students a chance to get involved through its various clubs and societies. For French we have the Le Cercle Français, for German there is the German society, for those interested in Japanese there is the Japanese Culture Club, for Russian you can connect with the Russian Society, and for Spanish you can find the Sociedad Hispanica. Anyone can get involved in the clubs offered by our various language units, and, of course, they are also open to other students with a passion and interest for language and culture.

The clubs and societies are run by elected individuals guided by members of our faculty. From organized travel experiences to social events, these groups create opportunities to meet your fellow students, faculty, and staff outside the classroom.
