Asbestos Awareness (Staff) |
All Memorial University employees who ordinarily work within close proximity to asbestos-containing materials as part of their daily work activities are required to complete the 1-day Asbestos Awareness Course. The purpose of the course is to provide awareness and information pertaining to the identity, management and control of asbestos-containing materials, as well as to fulfil legislative requirements of informing workers of the hazards of asbestos exposure and measures to be taken to minimize the hazards. |
