Room Rental
The MUN Botanical Garden conference room is a unique, scenic environment, ideal for holding meetings, workshops, conferences, and seminars. The room measures 29’ x 19’ and has several large windows, creating a bright, airy atmosphere. During the Garden’s open season (May-November), art shows are often on exhibit in the room.
The conference room is available for bookings weekdays from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, January-November. The conference room is not available for private parties.

Cancellation Policy:
A 48-hour cancellation notice is required to avoid payment of the booking fee.
Location & Parking:
The conference room is located at 306 Mount Scio Road, within the Field Centre, the Garden’s main building. Free parking is available in the Garden’s parking lot and in the overflow lot located across the street.
Capacity:
36 people sitting theatre or dining room style
20 people sitting board room style
Fees:
Morning (9:00 am to 12:30 pm) - $125 +HST
Afternoon (1:00 pm to 5:00 pm) - $125 +HST
Full day (9:00 am to 5:00 pm) - $250 +HST
Evenings (5:30 pm to 9:00 pm) - $175 +HST

All equipment must be pre-booked in advance. When booking the room, please indicate equipment required. Tables and chairs will be arranged to your specifications.
Garden Facilities:
All groups using the conference room are encouraged to visit the gardens and trails during our open season (May to November). All visits to the gardens and trails must take place on the day of the room booking between 10:00 am and 5:00 pm. Please check in at the front desk prior to visiting the gardens and trails.
Scent-Free Policy:
Just a friendly reminder that Memorial University, including the Botanical Garden, has a SCENT-FREE policy. Due to allergies and scent sensitivities, we ask that attendees strive to make this a scent-free event. Please inform your attendees of this policy.
