The Water Our World Speaker Series is an extension of the educational programming offered by the Oceans Learning Partnership in collabration with Memorial University, Parks Canada and Fisheries and Oceans Canada.

Sunday, September 14, 8pm Sentinels of Change: Coastal Ecosystems Monitoring in Terra Nova National Park- Janet Feltham, Resource Conservation Specialist, Parks Canada; Dr. Robert Gregory, Fisheries and Oceans Canada.

Monday, September 15th, 8pm The Hebron Project: Environment as Part of Our Business- Leslie Gratton, Senior Environment and Regulatory Advisor and Socioeconomic Lead, Hebron.

Tuesday, September 16th, 8pm Ocean Discovery and Change through Technology: New Gagets, New Views- Dr. Paul Snelgrove, Department of Oceans Sciences and Biology, and Dr. Brad de Young, Department of Physics and Physical Oceanography.

Wednesday, September 17th, 8pm The Ocean as a Classroom: An experiment in Project Based, Experiential Learning- Mr. Pat Wells, Holy Spirit High School (Manuels), and Chelsie Archibald, Manager of Field Program, Ocean Learning Partnership (OLP).

Thursday, September 18th, 8pm Marine Habitat Mapping in the Coastal Waters of Newfoundland and Labrador- Dr. Rodolphe Devillers, Department of Geography and Dr. Evan Edinger, Department of Geography and Biology, Memorial University.
