Dr. Beverley Diamond "On Record" at the Newfoundland Historical Society - May 1, 8pm
Dr. Diamond will be speaking about her research on the social history of audio recording in Newfoundland and Labrador. Her talk, entitled "On Record: Toward a Social History of Recording in Newfoundland and Labrador," explores the social significance of many different forms of audio recordings in Newfoundland and Labrador, focusing on the late 20th and early 21st century.
