Study tools are a special category of tool that is primarily used by students. These tools can help build good study habits in students, or be used by students to coordinate their study.

Skim*  Skim is a free PDF reader and note-taker for OS X.
Read and WriteRead&Write is a literacy support tool that helps users  study, revise, proofread, and increase their understanding. The software supports a variety of learners including but not limited to struggling readers and writers, those with learning disabilities, and English language learners. Read&Write is a useful tool for faculty and staff too. Faculty can access, download and use the software for thier work, research or teaching activities. 
Plickers*Plickers is a student response system that allows instructors to collect quick responses through a mobile device by scanning students’ paper-based response cards.
Immersive Reader*Immersive Reader is a free OneNote Accessibility tool that can be used to improve reading skills for all age groups.  
Quizlet*Quizlet is a self-study app where learners can use flashcards to study course materials.
