Conservation in Action Hike and Talk
Come on a walk with our education team to learn what we do here at the Garden to protect nature, and learn about some things you can do too! We will also be adding layers to one of our butterfly shelters, and learning how to build one!

Throughout the Day

iNaturalist Tutorials
Education staff will be on hand throughout the day with a display introducing the iNaturalist app, used widely in citizen science conservation activities. They will be able to show you how it works and provide instruction on how to set up an account and enter data. They'll even take you out for a short walk to get you started!

Conservation-themed crafts, including a pressed plants activity, a Puffin fortune teller craft, and egg carton reefs will be available for self-guided exploration and creativity.

Kids! Wear your Conservation Superhero costume and get in for free!
