Association Communautaire Francophone de Saint-Jean (ACFSJ) provides cultural, educational, and community programs and services for Francophones and Francophiles in St. John’s and surrounding areas. Our mission is to promote the French language and strengthen community engagement.

Typical Volunteer Duties:
– Assisting in the promotion and logistics of cultural events (concerts, community activities)
– Distributing flyers and event materials
– Administrative support as needed
– Photography and/or social media assistance during events

Volunteer Commitment:
Flexible, based on event needs and the volunteer’s availability. Students are welcome to return and contribute multiple times throughout the semester.

Volunteer Requirements:
– Must be 16 years or older
– Speak French or have a strong interest in the language
– Be a team player
A criminal record check may be requested for certain roles involving children.
