Health & Safety Walk

Date and Time:  Tues, May 3, 2022 at 12 pm – 1 pm

Join us on an important Health & Safety Walk!  Environmental Health and Safety are hosting a group walk around our beautiful campus to enjoy the fresh air, get some steps in, and encourage awareness of hazards in our environment.  This guided walk will teach you the very first step in workplace health and safety: PREVENTION! By looking for hazards, you are helping everyone stay safe.

Webinars and Workshops

All webinars are FREE and are offered by Workplace NL and the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety.  The Mindfulness Session is also FREE and is coordinated by Memorial’s Department of Psychology.

WHS Committee Training

Environmental Health and Safety is offering a two day in-person Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) Committee training course:

 

Date: May 4 & 5, 2022

 

Time: 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

 

Location: St. John’s Campus, Arts and Administration Building Room A 1043

 

As a Workplace Health and Safety committee member, it is important to maintain current OHS certification.  If you require OHS committee training and would like to register, please complete the "Request for Training" form.
