MSDS

Arts Bldg.

A Material Safety Data Sheet provides basic information on a material or chemical product. This includes the properties and potential hazards of the material, how to use it safely, and what to do in an emergency.

The MSDS is provided by the supplier of the product and is kept at the place of work. The MSDS is to be followed when working with hazardous materials.

If hazardous materials are included in a work process, appropriate MSDS's must be made available for worker review at all times.
