Gregory J Power Competition
The Department of English invites full-time and part-time students to submit their original, unpublished poetry to the annual Gregory J. Power Poetry Competition. Graduate and undergraduate students at Memorial University are eligible. The deadline for submissions is 4 pm on March 17, 2017.
Each student must supply, on a separate sheet, the following information:
Home address and student number; telephone number and email address; and a signed declaration that the work submitted is his or her own and has not previously appeared in print or online. Poems will not be returned. The student's name must not appear on the poem(s).
Entrants may submit one or two poems, not more. Poems with Newfoundland and/or Labrador content will also be considered for the Jeroboam Poetry Prize ($50).

Honourable Mentions (up to three): $25 each
