Organization Description: We are a non-profit tool lending service for people who want to create, make, build, and grow. We lend a wide range of tools. We also host a variety of workshops like woodworking, sewing, and gardening.

Volunteer Activities/Duties: We are looking for passionate volunteers to join our team and help us with tool library shifts, during workshops, and helping us repair and maintain our inventory. No experience necessary! Some of the tasks that are a part of volunteering are:

  • Helping members make selections by providing information on tools and products, offering suggestions and opinions. 
  • Documenting sales and processing payments.
  • Cleaning and maintaining the Tool Library location.
  • Assisting or leading workshops.
  • Joining outreach events.
  • Fixing and maintaining tools.

Commitment: 1 shift per month. Each shift is 3-4 hours long.

Orientation and Training: Experienced volunteers will walk them through what tasks they may be doing during their shifts. All shifts are done in pairs or groups.
