Organization Description: Motivate youth to engage in STEM learning. We offer free, hands on, curriculum based STEM activities/experiments.
Volunteer Activities/Duties: Going to classrooms, community groups, public events, etc. and delivering predeveloped STEM activities and experiments. We also do science fair judging and there are opportunities to be a team lead for various events, both on and off campus.
Commitment: As little or as often as the volunteer would like. The duration of placement is up to the volunteer.
Orientation and Training: Science with impact training is neccessary in order to volunteer with Let's Talk Science. This training provides you with background information about the program, volunteer expectations, and what volunteers can expect for us, and finally some helpful tips and tricks for delivering STEM education to you.
