Organization Description: Our mission is to find permanent, loving homes for domestic rabbits, birds, and other critters that have been abandoned, surrendered, or abused. We provide a safe haven for these critters and medical care as needed. These rabbits, birds, and other critters are then offered for adoption into loving homes. We educate potential adopters on proper critter care and behavior to maximize chances of successful and permanent placements. We also spay or neuter all rabbits placed for adoption to help reduce rabbit overpopulation.

Volunteer Activities/Duties: We need volunteers for many different roles. We hold adoption events periodically that are run by volunteers; setting up a table, giving out information, taking care of the animals, etc. We also often need volunteers for transporting animals to and from vet appointments or between foster homes. We host a variety of different fundraisers throughout the year that we also need volunteer help with.

Commitment: As little or as often as the volunteer would like! Both one-time events (2 hours at a time) or multiple events are available. Some events may be a half day or full day depending on the event. There is no requirement to make a long-term/full-semester commitment.

Orientation and Training: We do informal training where we discuss what is required for each volunteer opportunity and what you will need to know.
