Organization Description: Future Lawyers Atlantic is a non-for-profit organization with a mission to inspire and educate the youth about a career in law by providing law related opportunities through local community partners and resources to equip individuals for a career in the legal industry. Vision: “To become a bridge between students and organizations located in Atlantic Canada, and help prepare and inspire potential lawyers. We hope to create a community where individuals can learn more about the law, learn about different opportunities in the legal industry and connect with other like-minded individuals. We know first hand how hard it can be to obtain information and resources in your journey to a legal career which is why we hope to help make that information more accessible to others.

Volunteer Activities/Duties: 

• Graphic designers
• Marketing Team Member
• External Affairs Coordinator
• Event Coordinator
• Video Editor
• Website Designer

Commitment: 2-5 hours/week

Orientation and Training: Document templates are provided with step-by-step instructions on how to do certain tasks. We will also answer any questions that the volunteers have.

Other Requirements: depends on the position they apply for. Technology/ social media skills are necessary. Virtual Interview required.
