The following charts outline the requirements for first-year courses in Physics at their respected campus.

St. John's Campus

PHYS 1020Level III advanced mathematics or Mathematics 1090. Mathematics 1090 may be taken concurrently.

Physics 2204 or 3204; however, 1020 may be completed by someone who has no physics background with some extra effort.
High School physics recommended.

Eligible for and registered in Mathematics 1090.
PHYS 1050Physics 2204 and Physics 3204 with a grade of 70% or greater recommended

Eligible for and registered in Mathematics 1000.
High School physics with a grade of 70% or greater recommended

Eligible for and registered in Mathematics 1000.
