Bryan Heystee


Bryan is a PhD student working with Drs. Sean McGrath and Scott Johnston on George Grant. He is working on Grant's account of technology and its relation to his theological analysis and political philosophy.

Prior to attending MUN, Bryan completed an MA in Classics from Dalhousie University and a BA in Classics from the University of King's College. Bryan's graduate research was on the Platonic account of virtue and the philosophical unity of the Early and Middle dialogues. In between his MA and his PhD, Bryan completed the Parliamentary Internship Programme, during which he researched the philosophical import of political agency in Canada's federal institutions.
