Cheng Memorial Scholarship in Mathematics

This scholarship was established by the children of Mr. Wan Choi Cheng and Mrs. Yen Bo Cheng, who were strong believers in the value of education and who had encouraged their children to pursue a university degree. The scholarship will be awarded annually to a full-time student majoring in mathematics who meets the minimum academic requirements for a scholarship as defined by Memorial University of Newfoundland. The scholarship will be awarded by the Senate Committee on Undergraduate Scholarships, Bursaries and Awards on the recommendation of the Head, Department of Mathematics and Statistics.
