The Sexual Harassment Office supports all members of the university including students, faculty and staff. We offer consultation to complainants, respondents, bystanders, responders and witnesses of sexual violence.

Consultation

The first step toward the resolution of a concern of sexual violence is to have an anonymous or confidential consultation with one of our advisors. A consultation with our office is not an official complaint. It is a private conversation in which we listen to you and discuss safety, supports, resources and resolution options. You choose what information you want to share, what type of support you need, and whether to submit a complaint and pursue a resolution. Every person's situation is unique and consultation is vital to the process of finding the right path for you. 

Our consultation, complaint and resolution processes are trauma-informed and led by the complainant.

If you choose not to pursue a resolution, we can help you with safety, accommodations and referrals to support services.
