The Ocean Sciences Centre (OSC) outdoor Summer Marine Education Program is opened from June 11 to August 31, 2025. The program runs from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm from Wednesday to Sunday, rain or shine! There is no admission cost but we do have a donation box available. 

Please Note: The Ocean Sciences Centre (OSC) outdoor Summer Marine Education Program will be closed to the public on Wednesday, August 13 to support 2025 Canada Summer Games activities on Marine Lab Road.

The current public education program is a complimentary interactive and interpretive outdoor activity for tourists, school children, and local visitors. Features of the program include an outdoor touch tank, where visitors can experience a never-ending variety of local marine life, and marine interpreters to answer questions and explain current research initiatives at the facility. 

*Bookings are not required but we do ask that large summer camps and organizations schedule before taking their groups to the OSC to avoid overcrowding. Please email ocean@mun.ca for bookings or additional information.

The Ocean Sciences Centre is located at 0 Marine Lab Road in Logy Bay, Middle Cove, Outer Cove.
