Sexual Violence Awareness Week
The Sexual Harassment Office would like to advise members of the Memorial University community that Sexual Violence Awareness Week is Sept. 17 – 21, 2018. In recognition and support of Sexual Violence Awareness Week, the office has organized a display of consent inspired t-shirts created by members of the university community. The display raises awareness and sends key messages about consent. An essential component of addressing the roots of sexual violence is building a culture of consent – this event is reflective of the Sexual Harassment Office’s continuous efforts toward prevention.
Throughout the week, the t-shirts will be displayed in the pedways between the University Centre and the Earth Sciences building and the Chemistry-Physics building.
