December 6th Vigil

Dec. 6th Vigil image

Each year, the Sexual Harassment Office hosts the December 6th Vigil to remember the 14 women who were killed because of their gender at l'École Polytechnique in Montreal, Que. on Dec. 6, 1989. This remembrance ceremony coincides with the National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women established in 1991 by the Parliament of Canada.

Take time to remember, reflect and recommit. Pledge a concrete act to help end gender-based violence.
