Indirect Cost of Externally Funded Research
The current Indirect Cost of Externally Funded Reserch Policy was approved in 2014.
The purpose of this policy is to provide a mechanism whereby the Indirect Costs of externally funded research are recovered from sponsors and a portion of the Indirect Costs are allocated to the Academic Unit managing/overseeing the research and to a research account in the Principal Investigator's Academic Unit. During the reivew of this policy it was determined that the Research Pools Policy is intimately connected to this policy. The Reserch Pools Policy has been redrafted as a procedure found here.
The policy has undergone review as part of the One-Year Policy Reivew Plan and is currently ready for public consulation. A copy of the policy and proceedure. Please provide feedback to policy@mun.ca
