Thesis Examination and Final Submission
Graduate students will submit their thesis for examination after completing their research and receiving approval from their supervisory committee. The thesis is then reviewed by internal and external examiners as part of the formal evaluation process. Ph.D. students are also required to complete a thesis defense, pending approval from the Dean of the School of Graduate Studies (SGS). Following a successful defense and any necessary revisions, the final version of the thesis must be submitted to the SGS, accompanied by the Recommendation for the Award of Degree form signed by the supervisory committee.
For a detailed, step-by-step guide to both the examination and final submission procedures, please refer to the Guideline to Thesis Examination and Final Submission.. This checklist is designed to help you stay on trackāuse the bullet points to check off each step.
