Campus Enforcement and Patrol

Campus Enforcement and Patrol (CEP) is responsible for the safety and security of of students, university employees, staff and university property. CEP services include traffic and parking control, key issues and access, incident and emergency response. For more information visit the CEP website

CEP is responsible for areas of the Health Sciences Centre that are part of Memorial University such as the Faculty of Medicine Building, the Faculty of Nursing, the School of Pharmacy and the Divisions of BioMedical Sciences and Population Health and Applied Health Sciences. Areas of the Health Sciences Centre (non-Memorial University) and other health care facilities that are operated by Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services are patrolled by Paladin security services.

Parking 

Faculty members can purchase a parking permit through the parking office, located in the Facilities Management building (see campus map). New faculty members will need to show a letter of appointment from their department or unit, as well as having their vehicle registration with them.

After-hour access

Faculty members need a photo ID card (campus card) to access the Faculty of Medicine building and HSC after-hours. 

University employees must email campuscard@mun.ca to request a card. The employee name and number should be included in the request. The subject line of the email should also read "Employee card request". If this is your first employee card, please attach a photo to your request (similar to photo above). You will receive an email once it's ready for pickup.

Access requests should be sent to the manager of the faculty member's division or disciplline who will verify the authenticy of the request.
