Organization Description: The Office of Learner Well-Being and Success focuses on building relationships and experiences that engage, support, empower and change, we are committed to creating a culture of well-being where medical learners thrive and develop value-based, socially conscious identities and transition to practice as competent, resilient, lifelong learners who are innovators and leaders in healthcare.

Volunteer Activities/Duties: 

  1. Tech Support – Per Event
  2. Event Assistant –Per-Event         
    - Ceremony Lineup Lead
    - Coat Check / Registration
    - Tour Guides
    - Game Leads
    - Floor Setup /Tear Down
    - Food Setup/Pack up
     - Décor Setup/Pack up
  3. Marketing Assistant -  Per Semester ( with a minimum of 15 hours a week)
    - Content Writing
    - Content Creation
    - Social Media ( Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)
    - Collaborating with other team members
  4. Graphic Designer - Per Semester ( with a minimum of 15 hours a week)
    - Graphic Designing ( pictures, videos, Canva, etc)

How It Works:

If you possess the skills for any of the above roles and are interested in joining the team send us an email at lwsevents@mun.ca with the following information:

  • Past Experience
  • Minimum hours of commitment ( Per week)
  • Maximum hours of commitment ( Per week)

Once hired you are able to accept projects based on availability and track your hours worked based on your availability.
