Any time research produces a new process, material, or product, it is important to disclose these results to our office even before you publish.
The TTCO will help you navigate the disclosure process to help move your ideas towards commercialization.
Filing an invention disclosure form with our office is the first step. You can download the form here. The TTCO will review the disclosure to confirm the following information:
- clarify ownership of your research results
- determine your obligations to any sponsors or partners
- identify opportunities outside of Memorial to further advance your research
The invention disclosure process is described in Memorial's IP policy. Answers to frequently asked questions can be found here. If you have any questions about the disclosure process or if you would like to submit a disclosure form please contact the TTCO.
