The Earth Day Walk is Monday, April 22, 2024

• Meet in the Arts atrium at 12:20 pm to start the walk at 12:30 pm

Join the Sustainability and Climate Action Office to celebrate Earth Day with an accessible spring walk around Burton’s Pond. Bundle up and come out for some fresh spring air – walk is rain or shine. Our weather can be unpredictable, but we’re not letting that stop us! Meet in the Arts atrium (near Tim Horton’s) starting at 12:20 pm and begin the walk at 12:30 pm. Take part in a sustainability scavenger hunt, as we walk, for a chance to win some exciting prizes including a membership to the Botanical Garden, a membership for the Works, an on-campus bike locker, a 6 cu.yd. dumpster rental for spring cleaning from Heave Away Waste Management, and a sustainability gift basket! After the walk, gather in the Arts atrium for snacks - there will be hot coffee to warm you up!
