Public Engagement:

• In 2010, a partnership between ENACTUS Memorial (formerly known as SIFE Memorial) and the Harris Centre was launched to teach high school students about why water is such an important issue through interactive workshops. Employees of the Harris Centre gathered insight and information on local water challenges through a series of community hall focus groups.

Administration:

• Memorial is committed to providing clean bottle-free water on campus. This has been done through various initiatives over the years, such as through banning the distribution of plastic bottled water on campus, MUN’s Water Access Plan, the provision of reusable water bottles to students, the drinking water committee, and MUN’s drinking water sampling and testing program.
