It’s Thrive Week!

Join the Student Wellness and Counselling Centre, Employee Wellness from Human Resources, and RBC OnCampus for a week full of events to promote wellness across St. John’s campus! From Monday, Nov. 15 to Friday, Nov. 19, there will be daily events happening on the 3rd floor of the University Centre near the new MUN Dental Clinic. Learn about all aspects of wellness, from physical, mental, financial and more from a variety of organizations.

Monday, Nov. 15

Booths in the University Centre | 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
The following groups with have booths set up on the 3rd floor of the University Centre near the MUN Dental Clinic:

  • School of Pharmacy's Medication Therapy Services Clinic: Quit Smoking & Vaping Program

Therapy Dogs | 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
St. John Ambulance Therapy Dogs will be visiting on the 3rd floor of the UC near the MUN Dental Clinic!


Flu Shot Clinic (for students) | 1 - 4 p.m.
The Student Wellness and Counselling Centre is offering a flu shot clinic on Monday, Nov. 15 from 1 to 4 p.m. Appointments are required, and you can call 864-8500 to book. The clinic will be held at the Student Wellness and Counselling Centre, on the 5th floor of the University Centre.


Tuesday, Nov. 16

RNC Support Dog Stella will be visiting on the 3rd floor of the UC near the MUN Dental Clinic!


Injection Phobia Seminar | 1 -2 p.m.
Join Michael Edmonds, M.A. Clinical Psychology intern from the Student Wellness and Counselling Centre, for a free seminar providing information and solutions for injection phobia. This seminar will share information about how needle phobia develops, why it persists, and what you can do about it. This seminar will take place at The Landing, 3rd floor of the University Centre.
