Study spaces on campus

To ensure the health and safety of the university community, we have identified and designated the following study spaces on our campuses that follow all public health guidelines.

Remote Learning Classrooms

A number of classrooms have been designated as spaces for students to attend remote lectures while physically on-campus. Available on a first-come-first-served basis, these spaces require students to bring their own devices and provide limited access to electrical outlets.

Remote learning classrooms are a shared space and may not be ideal for classes with a high level of class participation or group work where discussion is required. As other students in the room will be speaking at a low volume, silence is not a feature of this space, unlike other study spaces. Individual study spaces are available from Memorial Libraries.

To help ensure remote learning classrooms are clean, accessible and useful spaces, we ask that you review and follow the Remote Learning Classroom Guidelines.

Masks: Non-medical masks must be worn in these classroom spaces unless you have an accommodation to the mask requirement for medical, trauma-based, religious or cultural grounds.
