CITL Support Centre
The Centre for Innovation in Teaching and Learning (CITL) provides live, just-in-time support and resources to help you succeed in your learning.
Whether you are studying on campus or online with Memorial, the CITL Support Centre can assist with:
- using and accessing your course in Brightspace (D2L);
- technical support for hardware/software configuration, embedded multimedia, and creating and editing course blogs; and
- accessing online student resources.
CITL’s Support Centre is available seven days a week to help. If you have questions about using Brightspace to complete a task assigned by your instructors, contact us today!
CITL Student Resources
Access helpful information and self-paced guides to help you use Memorial's learning technologies, including the learning management system Brightspace and web-conferencing tools Online Rooms and Webex, as well as other technologies you may find in your course sites.
The Commons
The Commons is a student computing and collaboration hub located in the QEII Library. Take advantage of their many services, including:
- A Computing Support Desk that provides peer technology support with LabNet, software, WiFi, and printing
- One-on-one technology tutoring in general computing, Microsoft Office software, multimedia editing, and assistive technologies
- The Digital Media Centre offers multimedia equipment lending, free access to the Adobe Creative Suite, colour and large-scale printing and more
- The Makerspace, where students can create, invent, tinker and explore a variety of tools and materials, such as 3D printers, sewing machines, and virtual reality
- An Assistive Technology space that offers a variety of assistive technology software, hardware, and support services
- A series of technology and makerspace workshops each semester
