MUN 101

Undergraduate Students, St. John's Campus

A high impact orientation and transition program to help first-year students adjust to university life, learn the ropes, become part of the community, and get set for success! MUN 101 is delivered in Brightspace, Memorial’s learning management system, to help you get acquainted with many of the tools and resources you’ll be using when you officially start your degree program in fall 2020. MUN 101 is made up of 11 different modules to complete week-to-week on your own time. The information from each module will remain in the system so you can access it anytime.

Log into Brightspace on or after June 29 to get started!

Note:  All undergraduate students are automatically registered for MUN 101 and, while not a required program, students are encouraged to complete the course modules prior to Sept. 2020.

MUN 501

Graduate Students, All Campuses

A comprehensive online orientation program designed to help graduate students in their unique transition to graduate school. Offered through Brightspace, this program will include modules that introduce you to Memorial University cover and the roles and responsibilities of graduate students. You will learn how to create an academic, budget and financial plan; maintain wellness and apply self care; and participate in a community of learners and scholars. The information from each module will remain in the system and be accessible at anytime. All new graduate students are invited to participate and will receive an email once MUN 501 is available. Find more information on MUN 501 and other online sessions hosted for new graduate students on the School of Graduate Studies website.
