Perhaps you’ll find a talk explaining how the human body reacts to being in space, and how the astronauts’ health is managed. Or maybe a speaker will present Newfoundland’s Ediacaran fossils — apparently we’ve got some of the best localities in the world. Or it could be a talk on the geological stories waiting to be found right here in this province. You never know what the next topic will be, but you can always be sure it will be fascinating, in-depth, and presented by someone who knows how to make it all come alive.
In the fall/winter of 2023 the Johnson Geo Centre hosted a series of public lectures devoted to the diverse fossil record found here in Newfoundland, presented by the very people doing the research. We are delighted to be able to make these talks available to you for your viewing pleasure. Please click here for more information, and for a complete list of available presentations.
