Venue

Bruneau Centre campus building

This year’s International Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Anti-Racism (EDI-AR) conference will take place at Memorial University’s main St. John’s campus in the Bruneau Centre for Research and Innovation (IIC), placing the event at the heart of our vibrant academic community. Hosting on campus allows us to create a more connected and accessible experience for attendees, with walkable venues, inclusive facilities and a setting designed for learning and collaboration.

Bringing the conference to our main campus provides meaningful possibilities for community involvement, where attendees will be immersed in the life of the university, with greater opportunities to foster dialogue and fresh perspectives by connecting with students, faculty and local partners. This setting allows us to build an event program that feels open, dynamic, and united—strengthening relationships within our community while delivering a high-quality, engaging conference for everyone involved.
