Information for current Computer Science Students

As we are still in the transition period, courses in the old program will continue to be phased out. Students who are following the Computer Science major regulations that were in place prior to 2016-17 should note that COMP-3715, COMP-3725, and COMP-3754 will be offered for the last time in Winter 2018. Any students requiring these courses who are unable to attend the final offering should contact the Department.

Students following the new Computer Science curriculum should note that COMP 2006, 2007, and 2008 are one credit-hour courses (unlike traditional 3 credit-hour courses) and are scheduled such that they can be taken in the same semester provided the prerequisites are met for each individual course. Each course will meet for one lecture per week.
For example, in Winter 2018, these courses are scheduled in the Slot 7 time slot with COMP2006 on Monday only, COMP2007 on Wednesday only, and COMP2008 on Friday only.
