Teaching Assistant Training Program (TATP)

The Teaching Assistant (TA) Training Program is offered online to graduate students via Brightspace in the Fall and Winter semesters. This program is a collaboration between SGS, CITL, TAUMUN and the GSU.

Program objectives include introducing new graduate students and future teaching assistants to the roles, responsibilities, and relevant policies for TAs. Students can attend either the morning or evening time slot for each session. An electronic certificate of completion will be provided. Students must attend all sessions to receive a certificate of completion. *Please note that the Faculty of Engineering and Applied Science offers its own TA training program, therefore thesis-based engineering students are not eligible.*

Facilitators: Dr. Leonard Lye , Dr. Weiyun Lin and CITL Learning Technology Coaches
