Admission Deadlines

Admissions for the M.A.I. program are usually granted only for starting in the Fall term (to start in September).  There are two deadlines for the Fall intake. The regular deadline is December 1st., whereas the late deadline is April 1st. Seats in the late deadline are subjected to seats available after applicants for the regular deadline have been processed. If you are an international student, we encourage you to apply by the regular deadline of December 1st. to improve your chances of securing a seat and to have enough time to process your visa application in case of obtaining admission.

If you apply after the late deadline (April 2nd or later) your application will be considered for the next Fall, (September of the year after the April 1st. deadline was missed)

The review of applications by the Graduate Admissions Committee begins after the submission deadline (there is no preference for applications made much before the deadline). Complete applications (including transcripts, reference letters, etc.) should reach the School of Graduate Studies by the 1st. of December to guarantee consideration for the early group of applicants. Incomplete applications are usually deferred to the next available deadline.

Master programs with special fees only have a single intake each year (Fall intake). Thus, admission to the M.A.I. program is granted for the Fall (starting in September) term only.  The review of applications begins after the application has been submitted and and answer can be expected by the notification deadlines posted below.  Complete applications (including transcripts, reference letters, etc.) should reach the School of Graduate Studies by the 1st. of December (Regular intake) or the 1st. of April (Late intake) to guarantee consideration for the start of the closest Fall term.

Notification Deadlines

The notification deadline for the M.A.I. program is about 4 months after the application deadline for the regular intake and about 2 months after the application deadline for the late intake.

The admission decision is communicated to applicants in writing by the School of Graduate Studies by the notification deadlines mentioned in this section and the department does not provide information about the status of the application before that. Typically, applicants will be notified about the admission decision shortly after the 15th. of April (regular Fall intake notification deadline) or the 1st. of June (Late Fall intake notification deadline).
