Thesis Topic:  I seek to undertake ethnographic research to analyze the responses and adaptive strategies of coastal and fishers communities as they navigate the socio-ecological challenges precipitated by modern struggles in the Mexican part of the Mesoamerican Reef and the Yucatan Coast.
