Increased Campus Activity - August 4-8, 2025

As the Canada Games period of Aug. 8-25, 2025 draws nearer, you may see increased activity on the St. John's campus while the 2025 Canada Games Host Society prepares Memorial spaces to welcome athletes and other visitors.

Things you might see include:

• Campus projects that need to be completed in the 2025 construction season.
• Installation of special wayfinding and promotional signage for the Canada Games
• Increased activity around St. John's campus sports venues (i.e. Aquarena, Field House, and Physical Education building.
• Spring clean-up and beautification initiatives
• Temporary traffic routing in and around campus
• Movement of furniture, equipment, and supplies into St. John's campus spaces - particulalry the Education Building.
• Reconfiguring some St. John's campus spaces to meet Canada Games requirements and standards
