All core bioethics faculty members hold academic appointments in the Faculty of Medicine of Memorial University, as well as clinical ethics appointments with the Provincial Health Ethics Network of Newfoundland and Labrador (PHENNL). The clinical ethics service provided through PHENNL is involved in more than 100 ethics consultations annually, plans and delivers ethics education events to hundreds of health care professional across the province, and assists the regional health authorities in developing policies on a wide range of health related issues.
